L’axe 2 \u00ab\u00a0V\u00e9g\u00e9talisation et habitabilit\u00e9 des villes\u00a0\u00bb du CPT se focalise sur l\u2019adaptation des milieux urbains aux changements globaux via leur v\u00e9g\u00e9talisation. Notre objectif est de mener une approche multi-\u00e9chelle, depuis les m\u00e9canismes mol\u00e9culaires d\u2019adaptation et d\u2019acclimatation des v\u00e9g\u00e9taux aux conditions environnementales urbaines et leurs fluctuations (\u00eelot de chaleur urbain, vagues de chaleurs, s\u00e9cheresse), jusqu\u2019aux processus via lesquels ces communaut\u00e9s v\u00e9g\u00e9tales fournissent des fonctions \u00e9cologiques (maintien de la biodiversit\u00e9, interactions multitrophiques, d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019agriculture de proximit\u00e9). Notre objectif est de proposer des outils de diagnostic et de nouvelles solutions de v\u00e9g\u00e9talisation pour la ville p\u00e9renne dans le contexte de l\u2019anthropoc\u00e8ne, tenant \u00e9galement compte des attentes des citoyens envers leur cadre de vie. Ce projet multidisciplinaire et multiscalaire s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement soutenable et de sant\u00e9 plan\u00e9taire d’UPCit\u00e9 et du Centre des Politiques de la Terre.<\/p>\n

AXE 1 | Des g\u00e9osyst\u00e8mes aux socio-g\u00e9osyst\u00e8mes<\/h3>

Les volcans, les failles, les dunes, les lacs, les oc\u00e9ans, les aquif\u00e8res, le permafrost, les rivi\u00e8res et leurs bassins versants sont des objets hybrides, autant naturels que sociaux. Cet axe de recherche, loin des dualismes soci\u00e9t\u00e9-nature, mobilise les progr\u00e8s inter et transdisciplinaires r\u00e9cents selon deux sous-axes :<\/p>

  1. Connaissance de la zone critique, d\u00e9finie ici au sens large comme la zone d\u2019interaction entre les roches et l\u2019air. C\u2019est cette zone qui abrite les organismes vivants, et qui est par endroit habit\u00e9e par des humains. Cet axe associera des r\u00e9seaux nationaux et internationaux d\u2019observations de long-terme, dont des sites urbains.<\/li>
  2. \u00c9tude des crises, catastrophes et risques dits naturels qui ne peuvent \u00eatre appr\u00e9hend\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re pertinente aujourd\u2019hui qu\u2019en embrassant l\u2019ensemble de la cha\u00eene des agents et des acteurs, depuis la recherche, l\u2019observation et la surveillance jusqu\u2019aux r\u00e9ponses individuelles et collectives, entre v\u00e9cu individuel, conflits d\u2019usages et de valeurs, articulation entre \u00e9chelons de gouvernance.La perspective est n\u00e9cessairement situ\u00e9e (c.\u00e0.d. ancr\u00e9e dans un territoire) mais avec l\u2019objectif de tirer des le\u00e7ons g\u00e9n\u00e9rales pour am\u00e9liorer la pr\u00e9paration aux crises multidimensionnelles \u00e0 venir.<\/li><\/ol>
