Dans le cadre du Plan national pour la science ouverte, le minist\u00e8re en charge de la Sant\u00e9<\/strong> et le minist\u00e8re en charge de la Recherche<\/strong> ont mis en place un groupe de travail pour formuler des propositions d\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la transparence des essais cliniques, en particulier sur la communication des r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019ensemble des essais cliniques en France.\u00a0Le rapport \u00e9mis par le groupe de travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 par le Comit\u00e9 de pilotage de la science ouverte, qui est l\u2019organe de gouvernance de la science ouverte en France.<\/p>\n

Le rapport interminist\u00e9riel publi\u00e9 le 12 mai 2025 par le minist\u00e8re de l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche<\/strong>, en collaboration avec le minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9<\/strong>, met en lumi\u00e8re l’importance cruciale de la communication des r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques en France.<\/span> Ce document s’inscrit dans le cadre du Plan national pour la science ouverte et a \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9 par le Comit\u00e9 de pilotage de la science ouverte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Contexte et objectifs du rapport<\/strong><\/p>\n

La transparence des r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques est essentielle pour renforcer la confiance dans la recherche biom\u00e9dicale, am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des soins aux patients et guider les d\u00e9cisions de sant\u00e9 publique.<\/span> Le r\u00e8glement europ\u00e9en n\u00b0 536\/2014, entr\u00e9 en vigueur en 2022, \u00e9tablit un cadre juridique harmonis\u00e9 visant \u00e0 renforcer cette transparence tout au long du cycle de vie des essais cliniques.<\/span><\/p>\n

Constats et enjeux identifi\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le rapport souligne que, malgr\u00e9 les obligations r\u00e9glementaires, une proportion significative d’essais cliniques en France ne publient pas leurs r\u00e9sultats de mani\u00e8re compl\u00e8te et accessible.<\/span> Cette situation entrave la diffusion des connaissances scientifiques, limite la r\u00e9utilisation des donn\u00e9es pour de nouvelles recherches et peut compromettre la prise de d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 publique.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recommandations principales<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour am\u00e9liorer la communication des r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques, le rapport propose plusieurs mesures :<\/span><\/p>\n

    Renforcement des obligations de publication<\/strong>\u00a0:\u00a0Imposer la publication (postage) syst\u00e9matique des r\u00e9sultats de tous les essais cliniques, y compris les r\u00e9sultats n\u00e9gatifs ou non concluants, dans des d\u00e9lais d\u00e9finis. Ce postage n\u2019est pas consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une publication scientifique \u00e9valu\u00e9e par les pairs et est ind\u00e9pendant de la possible publication dans une revue scientifique.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Cr\u00e9ation d’une plateforme nationale centralis\u00e9e<\/strong> : D\u00e9velopper une base de donn\u00e9es accessible au public regroupant l’ensemble des r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques men\u00e9s en France, facilitant ainsi l’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’information pour les chercheurs, les professionnels de sant\u00e9 et les citoyens.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Sensibilisation et formation des acteurs de la recherche<\/strong> : Mettre en place des programmes de formation pour les chercheurs et les promoteurs d’essais cliniques afin de les sensibiliser \u00e0 l’importance de la transparence et de les accompagner dans les d\u00e9marches de publication.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Suivi et \u00e9valuation des pratiques<\/strong> : Instaurer des m\u00e9canismes de suivi pour \u00e9valuer le respect des obligations de publication et identifier les obstacles persistants \u00e0 la communication des r\u00e9sultats.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ce rapport insiste sur le fait que la transparence des r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques est un pilier fondamental de la science ouverte et de la confiance du public dans la recherche m\u00e9dicale.<\/span> La mise en \u0153uvre des recommandations propos\u00e9es vise \u00e0 renforcer la qualit\u00e9 et l’int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de la recherche clinique en France, au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de l’ensemble de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n
