Project Summary
The phase transition from warm neutral medium to cold neutral medium in the interstellar medium (ISM) is affected by the magnetic field. The polarization of the synchrotron emission is one of the tracer of the magnetic field in the ISM. We investigate how correlated the phases are with the polarized emission, the use of machine vision algorithm and machine learning are a useful tool to compare numerical simulations and observations of these processes.
