On Monday, April 28, the first- and second-year Italian LV2 students from EIDD had the opportunity to end their semester in an original and enriching way: a guided tour of the Louvre Museum focused on the theme of the Italian Renaissance, organized by their teacher, Ms. Di Marco.

This cultural and friendly outing helped strengthen the bonds between students from both year groups, as well as with their language teachers, Ms. Di Marco and Mr. Arki. It was a continuation of the work carried out throughout the semester in their Italian course—particularly for the second-year students, who explored major figures in Renaissance painting and analyzed key artworks through the lens of the aesthetic characteristics specific to this period.
Over the weeks, the students not only developed their artistic knowledge but also improved their language skills, learning how to describe and discuss paintings in Italian. The visit concluded in the most pleasant way: under a beautiful spring sun, with Italian gelato at GROM, generously offered by EIDD—a sweet reward after a hard-working semester.

The teaching team would like to sincerely thank the EIDD administration for its support in making this educational outing possible. Special thanks as well for kindly providing the end-of-day refreshments: delicious Italian ice creams that were particularly appreciated and perfectly suited to the sunny, cheerful atmosphere of this lovely spring afternoon.
