Here is a list of topics or ideas that DO NOT work because they involve overly simplistic or descriptive approaches: any topic suggesting that videogames have active users and that films, novels, etc. have passive users; any topic simply comparing a film or videogame adaptation to its source (without in-depth analyses of the specificity of each medium, each socio-cultural/historical/economical context, etch genre, etc.); any topic simply tracking the “representation of” a character, a figure, a trope etc. in different texts/films/games without problematising (without in-depth analyses of the specificity of each medium, each socio-cultural/historical/economical context, etch genre, etc.)
