Maxence Vanseveren est un étudiant ingénieur, spécialisé en matériaux et nanotechnologies. Il a suivi deux années de Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles en Guadeloupe et est engagé dans une série d'associations étudiantes et sociales. Il est actuellement membre du conseil Tremplin (où des étudiants de l'université donnent des cours particuliers à des lycéens et les encouragent à poursuivre des carrières scientifiques). Il a également été président d'un Key Club affilié au Kiwanis club (association de bénévolat dédiée au soutien des plus démunis), et vice-président du Conseil de vie lycéenne et membre du conseil d'administration du lycée général et technologique Faustin Fleret.

Maxence Vanseveren is a graduate student (MSc) in Engineering, Materials and Nanotechnologies. He did an intensive preparation course for the Grandes Ecoles entry exam in Guadeloupe and is engaged in a series of student and social associations. He is currently member of the Tremplin council (where University students tutor high school students and encouraging them to pursuit of scientific careers). He was also president of a Key Club affiliated to the Kiwanis club (a volunteering association dedicated to support the underprivileged), and vice-president of the High School Life Council and member of the administrative council at the Faustin Fleret general and technological High School.
