Axens is looking for a data scientist, who will be responsible for the valuation of data in the business domain(s) for which they intervene through data analyzes to support the business in their understanding of the process in order to make the decision-making process faster. and efficient. The Data Scientist will have the ability to work in the Cloud, with the ability to instantiate machines with an environment specific to ML projects and deploy applications through container orchestrators.

The proposed position is part of the ongoing developments within the Digital Service Factory. This Axens entity is in charge of implementing innovative digital solutions related to the use of data from different sources. The Data Scientist will be in charge of providing an answer on the feasibility of use cases through the exploration of data and subsequently the design and evaluation of Machine Learning algorithms based on the use of metrics defined by the profession. The targeted applications are the optimization of the industrial performance of the various Axens catalyst manufacturing plants around the world, the Axens processes licensed to our customers, but also potentially internal processes.
