Modules in the Humanities

General Information

WARNING: If you choose to attend modules taught in French, you must have a B2 level to register.

In order to enrol in Humanities modules outside of Anglophone Studies, you will have to directly contact the various Departments (UFR) whose modules/courses you are interested in. Click on the links below to access more information and find the relevant contact details for each Department.

Registration for the modules must be done in early September for the Fall term (first semester) and in early January for the Spring term (second semester), by emailing the Secrétariat pédagogique (Registrar’s Office) of each UFR. Explain that you are an exchange student, provide your student number, and give the list of classes you want to be registered for, not forgetting each module’s code, title and group number if applicable. If you are already in Paris, you can also register in person in the various UFR registrar’s offices (scolarités).

WARNING: When checking the catalogues of the various Departments, please DON’T look at joint degree courses (« Bi-Licence », « Double-Licence », « Histoire/Anglais », etc.) Those are specific courses set up for UPCité students which are not open to exchange students.
