Fernanda Beigel

Fernanda Beigel is sociologist and PhD in Political and Social Sciences, with Postdoctoral studies at the Centre de Sociologie Européenne (EHESS, Paris). Principal Researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET, Argentina), Head Professor at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo). Director of the Research Center on International Circulation of Knowledge at UNCuyo-CONICET. Chair of the Advisory Committee for Open Science at UNESCO. Expert Advisor of the CLACSO Initiative FOLEC: the Latin American Forum on Research Evaluation. Member of the Executive Committee RC08 at the International Sociological Association (ISA). Relevant scientifc awards: Bernardo Houssay Prize (2003), CLACSO Essay Award (2004), Mention to Scientific Value-Argentine National Senate (2017). SOme of her recent publications : Beigel, F.
