Technical Communication

This program is geared at people who hold technical communication positions in the workplace who wish to improve their skills.

Technical communicators, also known as technical writers, are able to create, structure and present large volumes of complex technical and scientific information. These communicators have specialized research skills, use XML-style templates to arrange information and apply the principles of information architecture. They are capable of analyzing user needs and responding accordingly. In addition to having mastery of e-learning tools and methodologies, technical writers are adept at planning and managing complex documentation projects.

Admission Criteria

No specific pre-requisites other than knowledge of the fundamentals of technical communication and their application.

This is an on-demand, flexible and progressive training program (minimum 6 hours)
