Shinichiro Noda est directeur de la Division des programmes de santé mondiale (Bureau de la coopération sanitaire internationale), au Centre national de santé et de médecine mondiales. Après avoir commencé sa vie professionnelle comme pédiatre, il a étudié la santé publique et la médecine tropicale à l'École de santé publique et de médecine tropicale de l'Université de Tulane, aux États-Unis, puis a travaillé au Bureau de coopération sanitaire internationale (Centre national de santé et de médecine mondiales - NCGM), au Japon. Il a travaillé comme conseiller technique sur des projets d'aide publique au développement (APD) pour le Bureau provincial de la santé du Honduras et pour le Ministère de la santé de la République démocratique populaire lao (Laos). Il a mené des recherches importantes sur le système de prestation de services de santé au Laos, au Kenya et au Japon.

Shinichiro Noda is Director of Global Health Programs Division in the Bureau of International Health Cooperation, at the National Centre of Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). After starting his working life as a paediatrician, he went on to study public health and tropical medicine in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University, USA, and subsequently worked at the Bureau of International Health Cooperation (BIHC), NCGM, Japan. He has worked as a technical adviser on official development assistance (ODA) projects for the Provincial Health Office of Honduras and for the Ministry of Health in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Laos). He has conducted significant research on healthcare service delivery system in Laos, Kenya, and Japan.
