PhD Programs
The GHES Department offers a range of PhD programs in the fields of geography, history, economics, and other areas of social science.

Our doctoral candidates carry out their research at the Department’s many laboratories and their work is supervised by the affiliated professors.
There are also opportunities to conduct research with a professor from another institution, whether in France or abroad, or participate in a joint program and receive a doctorate from two universities.
