La coordination de projets internationaux en pédagogie est un volet important du travail réalisé au sein du Bureau des Relations Internationales. Ainsi, en plus de la gestion des mobilités étudiantes, le BRI assure la gestion de projets européens et de projets interuniversitaires.
Coordinating international projects is an important part of the work of the International Relations Office. In addition to the management of the student mobility, the IRO handles the management of European projects.

IDEAL4COM
Le projet
IDEAL4COM fait suite aux programmes européens IDEAL (2016-2019), IDEAL+ (2019-2022) et IDEALITER (2022-2025). Il développe un curriculum en communication interprofessionnelle via le spectre des maladies infectieuses pour les étudiants de 2e cycle et les étudiants avancés de 1er cycle, promouvant un enseignement engagé, innovant et interactif dans chacune des institutions partenaires. Le programme est coordonné par Université Paris Cité (FR) et réunit sept universités européennes partenaires : Università Campus Bio Medico Roma (IT), University of Nicosia (CYP), National and Kapodistrian – University of Athens (GR), Université de Tours (FR), Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf – UKE (ALL), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ESP) and Universiteit Antwerpen (BEL).
Deux institutions britanniques, Aston University et NHS Lothian, participent au programme comme partenaires associés. Abordant le sujet de la communication interprofessionnelle via le prisme des maladies infectieuses à différentes échelles (avec le patient, entre professionnels de santé, avec les agences régionales et nationales et au niveau européen), IDEAL4COM (Infectious Diseases Education Advanced Level Intensive Training for Communication) est un programme qui utilise la solide expertise développée sur les projets passés pour construire un cours novateur qui stimule les pratiques d’apprentissage et d’enseignement tout en valorisant l’interconnexion des systèmes d’enseignement supérieur de l’Union européenne.

Sessions de formation et nouveaux intervenants
Le programme propose des ateliers multidisciplinaires pour les étudiants dans chacune des institutions partenaires, un séminaire annuel « Former les formateurs » (« Train The Trainers ») à destination des jeunes professionnels de santé et des professionnels de santé en milieu de carrière pour se former aux techniques innovantes d’enseignement et aux nouveaux défis de la médecine de demain et une summer school annuelle conçu comme un laboratoire d’expérimentation.

The project
“IDEAL4COM” follows up the “IDEAL” (2016-2019), “IDEAL+” (2019-2022) and “IDEALITER” (2022-2025) European programs. It develops a curriculum in interprofessional communication through the spectrum of the infectious diseases for the postgraduate and advanced undergraduate students, promoting a committed, innovative and interactive teaching and learning in each partner institution.
The program is coordinated by Université Paris Cité (FR) and gathers seven European partner universities: Università Campus Bio Medico Roma (IT), University of Nicosia (CYP), National and Kapodistrian – University of Athens (GR), Université de Tours (FR), Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf – UKE (ALL), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ESP) and Universiteit Antwerpen (BEL).
Two British institutions, Aston University and NHS Lothian, are part of the program as associated partners. Tackling the topic of the interprofessional communication through the spectrum of the infectious diseases at different levels (with the patient, between health professionals, with the regional and national agencies and at the European level), IDEAL4COM (Infectious Diseases Education Advanced Level Intensive Training for Communication) is a program based on the strong expertise developed during the previous projects in order to build innovative workshops that sharpen the teaching and learning methods, while enhancing the interconnection of the higher education systems in the European Union.

Training sessions and new trainers
The program offers multidisciplinary student workshops in each of the partner institutions, an annual seminar « Train The Trainers » for young and mid-career health professionals to be trained to the innovative teaching and learning techniques and the new challenges of tomorrow’s medicine as well as an annual summer school built as an experimentation laboratory.

PHEMED
Le projet
PHEMED s’intéresse à la santé planétaire et à sa connexion avec la santé humaine. Il développe un syllabus entièrement dédié à ce sujet crucial mais pourtant très peu abordé pendant les études de médecine, utilisant des techniques innovantes et interactives d’enseignement. Ce syllabus servira à implémenter des activités étudiantes pour les étudiants de 1er cycle et enseignantes dans le but de sensibiliser les participants à l’importance et à l’influence de la santé planétaire sur les pathologies médicales et les pathogènes émergents.Le programme est coordonné par Université Paris Cité (FR) et réunit trois universités européennes partenaires : Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (ALL), University of Nicosia (CYP), Aarhus Universiteit (DAN) et une association spécialisée, Alliance Santé Planétaire (FR).
L’association Planetary Health Alliance (USA) et l’université européenne Circle U (https://www.circle-u.eu/) participent au programme comme partenaires associés.

Sessions de formation et nouveaux intervenants
Le programme propose dès septembre 2026 une formation pour professionnels de santé, « Teaching Planetary Health », afin de transmettre les clés pour enseigner la santé planétaire aux étudiants sous un angle interdisciplinaire pour mieux comprendre les défis qui les attendent dans l’avenir.
Ce séminaire formera les enseignants qui animeront à partir de la rentrée 2027 un atelier étudiant sur la santé planétaire pour les étudiants de 1er cycle dans chacune des institutions partenaires.
Une summer school annuelle conçue comme un approfondissement de l’atelier étudiant verra le jour à l’été 2028.

The project
PHEMED addresses planetary health and its connection with human health. The project develops a whole syllabus dedicated to this essential topic, not talked enough during the medicine studies, using innovative and interactive teaching and learning techniques.
The syllabus will be used to implement activities for undergraduate students and teacher activities in order to raise awareness among participants about the importance and the influence of planetary health above medical pathologies and emergent pathogens.The program is coordinated by Université Paris Cité (FR) and gathers three European partner universities: Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (ALL), University of Nicosia (CYP), Aarhus Universiteit (DEN) and a specialized association, Alliance Santé Planétaire (FR).
The association Planetary Health Alliance (USA) and the European university Circle U (https://www.circle-u.eu/) participate to the program as associated partners.

Training sessions de formation and new trainers
From September 2026, the program offers a training for the health professionals, “Teaching Planetary Health”, in order to give the keys to teach planetary health to students in an interdisciplinary way, to understand better the upcoming challenges.
The seminar will train educators that will, then, lead student planetary health workshops for undergraduate students from the start of the 2027 academic year in each partner institution.
An annual summer school built as student workshop follow-up will begin at summer 2028.
POEM-SET
Le projet
Le projet POEM-SET élabore des outils de formation (simulations et jeux sérieux) pour développer et renforcer les compétences non-techniques en situation d’interprofessionnalité des étudiants de 1er cycle en santé (médecins, infirmiers, sages-femmes).
Le programme est coordonné par Université Paris Cité (FR) et réunit trois universités européennes partenaires : Université Libre de Bruxelles (BEL), Universidad de Navarra (ESP) et Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (ESP).

CONSCIOUS II
Le projet
Le projet Conscious II s’inscrit dans la continuité du projet Conscious qui était destiné aux étudiants en sciences biomédicales et sciences de la santé de niveau master. Conscious II cible les doctorants en sciences de la santé. Le programme est coordonné par l’Université Masaryk (CZE) et réunit quatre universités européennes partenaires : Université Paris Cité (FR), l’Université de Pécs (HON), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (POR), University College Cork (IRL) et l’Université de Szeged (HON).
Le projet a permis de :
– Créer un programme pédagogique européen pour renforcer et standardiser l’enseignement biomédical en recherche
– Créer une plateforme en ligne interactive en anglais permettant de préparer les futurs chercheurs à leurs métiers (https://conscious2.eu/index.php/modul)
– Créer un programme pédagogique interdisciplinaire qui permet aux étudiants de développer des compétences transverses, telles que la gestion des projets de recherche, le leadership, la communication, la publication et l’enseignement des sciences biomédicales
– Développer des projets de recherche et des publications
– Renforcer la coopération pédagogique européenne au niveau du troisième cycle à l’aide du numérique

The project
“Conscious II” project follows up the project “Conscious” that was dedicated to the biomedical and health sciences Master students. Conscious II targets health sciences PhD students.
The program is coordinated by Masaryk University (CZE) and gathers four European partner universities: Université Paris Cité (FR), Pécs University (HUN), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (POR), University College Cork (IRL) and Szeged University (HUN).
The project manages to:
– Create a European academic program to improve and standardize the biomedical research teaching
– Create an interactive online platform in English to train in the making researchers to their future job (https://conscious2.eu/index.php/modul)
– Create an academic interdisciplinary program that allows students to develop multidisciplinary skills such as research projects management, leadership, communication, publication and the teaching of biomedical sciences
– Develop research projects and publications
– Improve European academic cooperation at PhD level thanks to digital tools
