Florence Mourlhon-Dallies
Vice chair and Director of Training and Valorisation
Linguiste - EDA
Florence Mourlhon-Dallies has been Professor of Language Sciences since 2012 and directs research on language and globalisation, being attached to the EDA (Education, Discourse, Learning) laboratory of UP’s ED 622. She is currently vice-chair of GRIP and director of training and valorisation of the same Institute, in line with her long-standing involvement in the Sociétés Plurielles Interdisciplinary Programme, financed at the time by USPC on IdEx1.
Her ambition is to develop synergies between disciplines at GRIP, such as discourse analysis, sociology and anthropology on issues of globalisation, globalisation and internationalisation. The participatory research COVIDSCAPES devoted to the analysis of the deployment of languages in confined urban landscapes testifies to this desire for synergies.
Furthermore, Florence Mourlhon-Dallies integrates the global component into her thinking on the teaching of French, including within the French-speaking world. The partnership initiated with the OIF in 2018 for French-speaking African fashion designers aiming to develop their activity on international markets is proof of this desire. This partnership has also provided an opportunity to develop a model for supporting and labelling projects approved by UP, thereby strengthening the GRIP’s development centre.
