Visiting Professors programme: Carien Niessen visit

As part of its Visiting Professors programme, the Labex Who Am I? is delighted to welcome professor Carien Niessen, CECAD Coordinator, and head of the “Cell Biology of the Skin” department, at the University of Cologne, Germany.

On November 15, 2022, Carien talked about “Biomechanical regulation of cell fate and position in epithelial barrier morphogenesis, renewal and disease”.

Carien Niessen joins the group of Benoit Ladoux and René-Marc Mège at the Institut Jacques Monod, from November 6 to 30, 2022. This visit is part of the project “From simple to stratifying epithelia: unifying and diverging adhesive and mechanical principles”.
