This three-day webinar is open to all non-native PhD candidates interested in upgrading their academic speaking and writing skills. It aims to help participants to learn how to write an abstract and a research paper and to present their current PhD project.

• Basic methodology: process writing, passive vs active voice, the end-focus technique
• Discussing the do’s and don’ts of writing an abstract and a research paper
• Editing/streamlining a research paper
• Preparing a 3/5/10 Minute Thesis (MT) presentation
