English Research Webinar for PhD Candidates (3-day programme)

This three-day webinar is open to all non-native PhD candidates interested in upgrading their academic speaking and writing skills.

It aims to help participants to learn how to write an abstract and a research paper and to present their current PhD project.

Activities include learning core writing methodologies such as process writing, the use of passive versus active voice, and the end-focus technique, discussing the key do’s and don’ts of writing an abstract and a research paper, editing and streamlining a research paper, and preparing a 3-, 5-, and 10-minute thesis presentation.
