Nominations for incoming exchange students

International student mobility is governed by agreements in place between Université Paris Cité and its partner universities, in which there is a set number of places and for a set duration.

Université Paris Cité only accepts nominations from the international relations offices of partner universities with whom we have an existing agreement. No nomination will be accepted from students.

How partner universities nominate students?

Every year the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities sends to its partner universities an e-mail, containing the link to our online nomination form.

If you are one of our esteemed partners and you haven’t received our latest Factsheet, please request it at mobility.sh@u-paris.fr

After the partner university has entered the nominations, they are reviewed and validated by our team. Only if the online upload is not available, nominations must be sent to mobility.sh@u-paris.fr

Deadlines for nominations:
  • First semester or full academic year (starting in September): April 30th
  • Second semester (starting in January): October 30th
Information requested for nomination

The nominations by e-mail must include the following information about the nominated student:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Field of study
  • Current level of study
  • Level of study during mobility
  • Starting semester (1st or 2nd)
  • Length of study (one or two semesters)
  • Department being nominated for

If the mobility takes place within a combined international degree or a joint degree, this programme must also be indicated in the nomination.

How students apply after their nominations are validated?

Following the validation of their nomination, students receive via e-mail an “Application Kit” with the following items:

  • Application guidelines (MoveOn platform application link, instructions)
  • Learning agreement templates (Erasmus, Bilateral agreements, etc.)
  • Academic year agenda and mobility contacts

All the application process is digital. Students must submit their MoveOn application form with all required documents online by the deadline:

  • May 15th for first semester or full academic year mobility (starting in September)
  • October 30th for a second semester mobility 8starting in January)

Students will have to include in their application a learning agreement approved by their academic contact at UPCité. This learning agreement may be subject to change once they arrive at the university. Any application submitted without a signed and filled learning agreement will be considered incomplete. The signature of this document is considered the final approval to the student’s application.

Once accepted, the student will receive a Welcome Kit (lien vers “Welcoming international students).
