The Graduate School Translational Bioinformatics is organizing a meeting on November 24 to encourage exchanges between Master’s and PhD students in disciplines contributing to translational bioinformatics.
The Graduate School Translational Bioinformatics of the Université Paris Cité, created in 2020, brings together various training and research programs at Masters and PhD levels, focusing on data science and artificial intelligence approaches applied to genomic medicine. It is based on an interdisciplinary program built around fundamental scientific disciplines: biology, applied mathematics, computer science, physics and chemistry, as well as medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
In this context, the 2nd Student’s meeting of the Graduate School Translational Bioinformatics aims to promote exchanges between its students, and trigger lasting interactions in the form of collaborative projects.
The workshop will include 8 oral and poster presentations in which Master’s and PhD students will present their recent or current projects, with the aim of attracting complementary skills from other participants, who could potentially contribute to their follow-up. In addition, 4 keynote presentations will be given by senior researchers. The day will include a round-table discussion, as well as convivial moments and group discussions.
Target audience
The event is open exclusively to students at Masters and PhD level in computer science, mathematics, biology, medical/health sciences, bioinformatics and related interdisciplinary sciences.
Presentations and interactions will take place in English.
To be announced:
8 presentations by Master or PhD Student
4 Senior Conferences
1 Round Table.
