steering IdEx

The IdEx programme is implemented under the aegis of the StratEx Steering Committee. This committee oversees the “Strategic Excellence” (StratEx) programme, which includes the IdEx, and the projects STAND-UP (IDéES call), SMARTS-UP (SFRI call), FIRE-UP (ExcellencES call), and HARVEST (ASDESR call), all funded by the France 2030 national investment plan.

he StratEx Steering Committee proposes the multi-year IdEx program, monitors the progress of IdEx actions and projects within its scope, allocates funds based on project progress, defines the framework for evaluating different projects or actions and measuring their impact.
Through co-financing (including IdEx funds), the StratEx Steering Committee also oversees Circle U. (European Alliance) and ValoCité (PUI call), thus providing a systemic view of the institution’s strategic projects.
The StratEx Steering Committee is based on the university’s executive board, expanded to include representatives of national research organizations partnering with UPCité, as well as the Vice-President for International Relations.
