How can policymakers, public service providers and non-governmental professionals help make our societies and infrastructures sustainable for the future? The Circle U. international online training programme invites climate change practitioners to find out over 4 days starting February 20th 2024. Registration is open.
Circle U.brings together Université Paris Cité, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, King’s College, London, UCLouvain, University of Oslo, Aarhus University, University of Belgrade, University of Pisa and University of Vienna
Target audience
Policy makers, public service providers and non governmental professionals
Objectives
The programme is designed to help professionals in the public sector increase and improve sustainability efforts in their work environments and communities. Over the course of four days, participants will:
- Gain insight into the science behind climate change
- Get an overview of EU law and policy frameworks pertaining to climate sustainability
- Learn about best practices for implementing EU guidelines
- Find out how to adapt them to your own work environment
- Exchange with academics and peers
- Extend your professional network across Europe
Participants will benefit from the expertise of speakers from the worlds of research, public services and private economy. Knowledge and actionable insights into what works where and how to make a difference will be gained.
Participation is free of charge and, upon completion, Circle U. issues a certificate.
