Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and Université Paris Cité (UPCité) are strengthening their collaboration by offering two joint PhD scholarships for thesis projects affiliated with one of UPCité’s Graduate Schools.

This call aims to reinforce cooperation between the two institutions across various disciplines—from life sciences, physical, and engineering sciences to the social sciences and humanities.
The selected candidates from each institution will pursue a PhD jointly at Université Paris Cité and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, under the supervision of research directors from both universities.
Doctoral candidates will spend one-third of their studies at the partner institution and will receive support to finance this mobility.
UPCité’s Graduate Schools at the center of this call
These two joint PhD scholarships are a valuable opportunity for students to pursue a doctorate within one of Université Paris Cité’s Graduate Schools. These internationally oriented programs emphasize multidisciplinary research to prepare doctoral candidates for major challenges related to planetary health.
Université Paris Cité’s 28 Graduate Schools offer training across a broad range of fields, from medicine and natural sciences to engineering and humanities and social sciences.
Application Details
This call is open to students who hold a Master’s degree and are enrolled in the pre-doctoral year at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, and who wish to pursue a joint PhD at Université Paris Cité in France and at UM6P in Morocco.
At Université Paris Cité, the hosting doctoral school must be affiliated with one of the institution’s Graduate Schools.
