Are you studying at Université Paris Cité and looking to expand your knowledge and internationalise your academic career? Every year, the Circle U. European Alliance, of which our university is a member, organises summer schools on a number of themes related to major societal challenges. Applications are open until March 18th.
Circle U. Summer Schools
Since 2022, the Circle U. Summer Schools have been offering innovative interdisciplinary courses in English on major societal challenges: global health, climate change or democracy, for example. These intensive week-long courses at one of Circle U.’s member universities will enable you to strengthen your theoretical knowledge, exchange ideas with experts and join a dynamic European community.
The themes of the 2025 editions:
- The Crossroads of Democracy and Development: Challenges and Innovations, from 2 to 6 June, in Belgrade
- Advanced Manufacturing: Solving Real-World Industrial Challenges, from 30 June to 11 July in Aarhus
- Niche Strategies & Sustainable Competitive Advantage in Agribusiness, from 2 to 18 July in Aarhus
- Empowering Climate Action: Islands on the Frontline, from 21 to 25 July, in Berlin
- Rethinking Global Health, from 30 to 5 July, at Université Paris Cité
- Narrative and Discourse Analytical Approach to Multilingualism and Interculturality Research, from 15 to 19 September in Belgrade

Participation in these activities requires the approval of your academic supervisor or your thesis supervisor.
Université Paris Cité will offer mobility grants to selected candidates who meet the university’s social criteria for mobility grants.
