Circle U., the European alliance, invites you to an open debate on the effects of pesticide use on human health. Professor Bombardi, a Brazilian geographer and whistleblower, will be sharing her research as part of Circle U.’s series of open conversations. Join us online on 10 October from 2pm to 3.15pm!

The ‘Circle U. Open Conversations’ series is intended to be interdisciplinary. The topics chosen are focused on Circle U. main cross-cutting themes. For this second edition, the European alliance is highlighting the problems associated with the use of pesticides in rural communities in South America. Ms Bombardi, a refugee researcher, will talk about her personal journey, her exile and her fight to defend environmental justice and the right to speak out on these issues.
