As part of the strategic partnership between Université Paris Cité (UPCité) and the University of Toronto (U of T), a new research call for proposals is launched for 2026. The submission deadline is May 13, 2026. Two previous calls were held in 2024 and 2025, with a total of 10 awardees, 5 per call.
Objectives
UPCité and U of T provide project funding to their faculty members to support international scientific collaboration. This is the third edition of the joint call, aimed at fostering long-term collaborations.
Please note: a separate call for doctoral mobility between UPCité and U of T is also open until June 1, 2026. For more information, please consult the article of the call.
Target audience
Each project proposal must include a Principal Investigator (PI) from both UPCité and U of T.
This call is open to applications from the humanities and social sciences, engineering and applied sciences, and all natural science fields. In the health sciences, eligibility is limited to proposals in the areas of pediatrics and pharmacy/pharmacology, based on the priority interest areas of the two institutions.
