The Computational Systems Biology Master Class, hosted by the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, serves as a portal to cutting-edge research in biology, health, and personalised medicine. This programme seamlessly blends mathematics, biology, and data science to tackle the complexities of human health.
During this Master Class, conducted exclusively in English, participants will explore the fundamentals of systems biology, uncovering its core theories and principles. They will gain proficiency with a diverse array of indispensable tools and methodologies employed in this domain, empowering them to interpret biological data and formulate research hypotheses with greater precision.
Emphasis will be placed on acquiring hands-on experience, particularly through the creation of models aimed at enhancing understanding of the intricate interactions among entities within living systems and their environment. Furthermore, participants will hone their data analysis skills through practical sessions focusing on real-world biological challenges.
Geared toward PhD students, researchers, and engineers from both academic and industrial backgrounds with an interest in systems biology, this Master Class is led by Karine AUDOUZE, Professor of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics at Université Paris Cité. Offering a comprehensive exploration of this rapidly evolving field, the course requires no specific prerequisites, ensuring accessibility to all participants.
