As the new academic year got underway, welcoming international students at Université Paris Cité is highlighted by a series of events and activities, underlining the importance we place on their successful and fulfilling stay at the university.
Numerous initiatives illustrate our commitment to supporting international students in their daily lives and their academic journeys, paving the way for a year filled with opportunities.
Among the highlights, the Welcome Desk on September 11th helped prepare international students for their arrival in France by providing practical information on housing, scholarships, healthcare and the many services dedicated on our premises. The event also laid the foundation for successful integration, while reinforcing the feeling of belonging to our university. The discovery of French culture, facilitated by workshops organised by the cultural department, also enabled the international students to forge ties with with their new living environment.
In celebration of their arrival, the Student Life Deparment organised a Welcome Party on October 8th, offering international students a festive and convivial evening aboard a barge, topped off in a unique discovery of “Paris By Night”. The evening, full of fun and conviviality, no doubt was an unforgettable moment.
From October 14th to 17th, as part of Erasmus Days, Université Paris Cité put the spotlight on international mobility with conferences, a European village, information booths and a photo competition. Erasmus Days is an opportunity to celebrate European values and introduce everyone to study abroad opportunities, reinforcing our university’s openness to the world.
