On November 5, 2025, a sharing event brought together participants of Université Paris Cité’s Buddy System. This was the second interfaculty event of the year, aimed at connecting French and international students from the University.
A Drink and Some Ping-Pong
To encourage connections between mentors and mentees in the Buddy System, thirty French and international students from Université Paris Cité’s three faculties gathered for an evening at the Gossima Ping Pong Bar. After a first board game night organized last March, the Buddy System program continues to bring together the French and international students at UPCité.
See you at the next event : a day trip to Fontainebleau organized by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Health on June 30, 2026, with icebreaker games, lunch, and a walk in the forest!
What is the Buddy System ?
The Buddy System is an initiative that creates duos between national and international students. Its goal is to ease the inclusion of international students by supporting them in their academic journey, daily life, and adaptation to France. The mentor, a local student, becomes a guide for the international student. This mentoring program allows all participants to experience intercultural exchange and improve their foreign language skills.
Such events are held every semester! A great opportunity for Buddy System students to forge connections and enrich their university life by meeting people from different backgrounds.
