Université Paris Cité provides students and staff the opportunity to discover, learn, study or even brush up on five different languages free of charge (English, Spanish, German, Italian as well as French as a foreign language,) and to prepare for TOEIC exam.

Learning Languages: A Vital Asset
On the Grands Moulins campus, the language learning space is a free service accessible to all students and staff at Université Paris Cité wishing to improve their linguistic skills, study, or just to teach themselves a new language. It provides to its users:
- 48 open-access computers
- Internet access
- Teachers specialising in language and TICE
At Odéon, our team of language teachers offers free language courses and workshops to students and staff. They also organise TOEIC test preparation courses (2 hours per week over 4 weeks, followed by a practice test).

Test your English knowledge by preparing for the TOEIC
Université Paris Cité students and staff have the opportunity to prepare for the exam.
- at Odéon: 4 preparatory sessions ( total of 15 hours)
- open access on Moodle (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences > CRL-centre de langues)
- within the University Diplomas Specialised English Language and Certification program (DULASC)
Valid for 2 years, the Test of English for International Communication adds value to your diploma and meets the needs of private companies (recruitment, internal promotion, training).
The TOEIC allows you to:
- Support academic and professional success
- Facilitate international employability
- Evaluate your level of English in a professional context
- Capitalise on your skills
- Grow professionally (promotion, international mobility)
You can test for two skills:
- Listening comprehension skill: TOEIC Listening
- Reading comprehension skill: TOEIC Reading
