Visiting Teacher-researchers
The international visiting teacher-researcher is welcomed and integrated into the teaching and research teams of Université Paris Cité for a short, medium or long stay (up to two years). The visitor finances the stay by a salary maintenance of his or her home institution, a grant from an outside organisation, etc.
The International Relations Office provides support to visiting teacher-researchers in the administrative and logistical aspects of their stay at Université Paris Cité. It offers international researchers assistance with administrative formalities (accommodation search, enrolment in FLE courses, visa/or residence permit renewal), thus facilitating their stay in Paris.
Step by Step Procedure
In order to prepare their stay at Université Paris Cité (teaching or research), visiting teacher-researchers must carry out the following steps :
Step 1
Contact the host laboratory or department and download and complete the invitation letter from Université Paris Cité. This letter must be signed by the inviting researcher and the host laboratory Director at Université Paris Cité. The scientific agreement template also available.
Step 2
Activate an online account and fill in all the required information. Once the form is complete, the researcher must download it (PDF) and send it to the International Relations Office.
Step 3
