This conference series in English organised by the Graduate School of East Asian Studies aims to inform and raise awareness among members of the student and scholarly community* about the latest developments in humanities and social science research as it relates to the East Asia region.
* Research Masters, PhDs in Asian Studies or other scientific disciplines related to the East Asian region
This is an opportunity to learn from and discuss with eight internationally renowned lecturers while at the same time cross-referencing scientific data and knowledge, multidisciplinary approaches, research tools and methods.
It is designed to strengthen the transversal and international training components for those students who are preparing high-level studies, coupled with an excellent command of an oriental language (Chinese, Korean, Japanese or Vietnamese). It is specifically targeted to Master’s degrees students in Asian studies or in other scientific disciplines related to the East Asian region, as well as to doctoral students. These conferences are accessible and open to all in blended format on Zoom.
