[WEB-CONFERENCES] Circle U.’lympics @ Online

The Circle U.’lympics project, supported by Circle U. European university alliance and organised by Université Paris Cité’s Sports Science Department (STAPS), King’s College, London and the University of Aarhus, invites you to a series of web conferences from January to April on the theme of the Olympic Games. Join us online!

Circle U. European university alliance: Université Paris Cité, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, King’s College, London, UCLouvain, University of Oslo, Aarhus University, University of Belgrade, University of Pisa and University of Vienna

Target Audience

  • Université Paris Cité students and adminstrative staff
  • Circle U. students from the partner universities
  • General public, anyone interested in the topic of the Olympic Games

Objectives

The Circle U.’lympics project aims to provide a 360-degree interdisciplinary vision of the Olympic Games, and to share research within the Circle U. European university alliance.

The web conferences will take place once a month in hybrid form starting from January 31, 2024 to April 26, 2024. Athletes, researchers and doctoral students from Circle U.’s 9 partner universities will speak on the themes of Physical Activity, Sports and Artistic Sciences and Olympism, aiming to enhance the Olympic culture of our students and all those taking part in these events. The conferences will be held in English.
