20h00 – 21h30 – Stéréo / Philippe Decouflé / Compagnie DCA

The energy of rock in Stereo, injected by Philippe Decouflé into a new explosive creation. Guitar, bass, drums: an electric shock that crosses the bodies of seven young performers. It is a hybrid form between concert and show that the choreographer Philippe Decouflé imagined with Stereo. In the background, a rock trio – guitar, bass and drums – rolls out a dream setlist, which brings together the Beatles, T. Rex, the Beach Boys and a nice cluster of original compositions. In front of him, won over by this forever youthful energy, the seven male and female dancers deploy treasures of inventiveness to follow the rhythm, through a writing that is inspired as much by punk as by cinema and circus. Supported by a gold team (notably in the costumes, with a spectacular wardrobe) and faithful to his generous and kaleidoscopic style, Philippe Decouflé multiplies the visual and playful finds. It is a whole collective imagination that is revisited and revitalized here with jubilant enthusiasm. A perfect physical translation of music, with pleasure as the only guide.
