Discover on playback the Masterclass in History with Michelle Perrot that took place on January 26th at the Musée Carnvalet-Histoire de Paris, during the Circle U. Week for the Future of Higher Education and Research. An exceptional event, co-organised by the Laboratoire Identités Cultures et Territoires – Les Europes dans le Monde (ICT) of Université Paris Cité and the Circle U.European university alliance.
Students, academia and the general public had the opportunity to delve into the fascinating story of Michelle Perrot, her career, commitments and encounters. Michelle Perrot is a historian, Emeritus Professor of Contemporary History at Université Paris Cité and a French feminist activist. Through her pioneering work, she is one of the great figures of women’s history in France.
During this first masterclass, Emmanuel Laurentin, journalist at France Culture, Alexandre Rios-Bordes, lecturer at Université Paris Cité, Anaïs Albert, Université Paris Cité, and Heike Wieters, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, discussed with her and explored her incredible trajectory.
